Samsung Released Full High Definition AV Home Theater Projector

Samsung Electronics America, announced the release of the A600, the latest A Series AV Home Theater Projector with Full High Definition 1080p performance. The A600 builds on Samsung`s engineering depth and leverages the image performance and color quality of the acclaimed A800 and A900 Full HD 1080p "Joe Kane Signature Series" projectors.

Yamaha Introduced AV Receiver RX-V2065 and Blu-ray Players BD-S1900 & BD-S1065

At last week's CEDIA show in Atlanta Yamaha announced new additions to its range of Blu-ray disc players and Audio Visual Receivers.  Those introduced were the 7.1-channel network AV receiver RX-V2065 and the BD-S1900 and BD-S1065 players. According to Yamaha the Blu-ray player are complements to the RX-V2065 and other AV receivers in the class and to give customers the best in HDTV entertainment experience.

Both the STR-DA5500ES and new STR-DA3500ES are designed as easy-to-use solutions for expanding high-definition entertainment to multiple rooms of the home.  The new STR-DA5500ES model features IP network control, allowing installers to easily integrate into Control4 home automation systems. It will also support special Control4 developed and certified IP network applications, such as advanced configuration and diagnostic tools for dealers, email and text alerts, and more.

NXP & Entropic Showcase Set-Top Box Reference Design at IBC

The joint reference design will feature NXP's newly unveiled PNX847x/8x/9x, the world's first family of fully integrated 45-nm STB system-on-chip (SoC) platform incorporating multi-channel broadcast receivers and Entropic's third-generation Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA)  1.1-compliant EN251x single-chip network controller solution. The products are on view at this year’s International Broadcasters Convention (IBC) 2009 in Amsterdam.
