That is because that’s where Intel has focus most of its marketing efforts; but this is changing because Intel like many other  technology companies (Ericsson, Cisco, Microsoft and Motorola) have notice that consumers are working differently with their home appliances, when compare to how we were over the last 20 years. This is why they have coined the term “Consumer Electronic 3.0”.  Consumer electronics 3.0, according to Intel is the seamless integration of the internet and television.

Node-H Femtocell Software Achieves World First With Percello PRC 6000

3gppNode-H has integrated its 3GPP femtocell protocol software on the Percello PRC6000 femtocell SoC (System on a Chip) and shown eight calls running simultaneously. This is the first time that Super-Femtocell performance has been achieved on the PRC6000 using a protocol stack from an independent software vendor.

D-Link's New Network Camera for MyDlink Portal

D-Link, today began shipping a network camera that allows users to remotely monitor live streaming video over the internet through the mydlink portal (www.mydylink.com).

The new D-Link(R) Network Camera (DCS-1100) is 'mydlink-enabled,' allowing it to be easily viewed and managed by the mydlink(TM) portal, providing customers with an easier way to experience a connected, digital lifestyle. A wireless 802.11n version, the DCS-1130, is expected to ship at end of this month.
