Best Buy Magnolia Offers Exclusive Panasonic VIERA HDTVs and Blu-ray Players

Panasonic and Best Buy have joined to offer a new range of full HD 3D capable VIERA Plasma HDTVs and a fully-featured 2D Blu-ray Disc Player.  The range will deliver full 1080p resolution images to each eye by creating a 3D experience that easily rivals the best that can be seen in the cinemas. The systems will be sold exclusively at selected Best Buy stores via Magnolia Home Theater.

For a combine cost of $2899.99 you get the 50-inch Panasonic VIERA VT20 Plasma 3D HDTV (TC-P50VT20), the Panasonic BDT300 Blu-ray Disc Player (DMP-BDT300) and one pair of Panasonic 3D Active Shutter Lens eye wear (TY-EW3D10U). Additional pairs of glasses can be bought separately.

Each model will feature Panasonic’s VIERA CAST(tm), an innovative internet programming package, which allows viewers to access feature films plus News and services such as Skype, Fox Sports, Bloomberg, Amazon Video on Demand and more.

Panasonic has partnered with DIRECTV to offer 3D home entertainment through DIRECTV’s HD 3D channels, powered by Panasonic. The new channels will a 24/7 pay per view, showing movies, documentaries and other programs. Customer can expect to start receiving the service this June.
