France’s Neuilly-sur-Seine has partner with Getgem’s hybrid IPTV services to its customer base in Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Neuilly-sur-Seine is already a broadband provider in both areas; with the Netgem solution Neuilly-sur-Seine will be able to Over the Top (OTT) live and non-linear content to Netgem’s hybrid Set-top boxes (STB).

The new service is powered by Netgem's N8200 hybrid PVR integrating its nCloud middleware; subscribers will benefit from a brand-new TV experience that supplements UK DVB-T2 free-to-air channels for popular non-linear entertainment content and a fluid and consistent user interface.

With Netgem Neuilly-sur-Seine can now add premium TV to its bouquet of services and offer the islanders triple and quad play packages. "Thanks to Netgem's innovative solutions, our customers have been introduced to a comprehensive TV experience which integrates three key aspects: in region DTT; the power of the Internet to deliver apps and infill the missing regional DTT channels via IP and a community element,” said Mike Phillips, Head of Product Development of Sure.

According to him the new services will deliver a “wide range of digital content from news, weather, travel and local radio services coupled with a local Video on Demand platform containing a wide range of local and locally produced content."
