I don’t know if you knew but I didn’t see this coming, Google might send averts to us via our appliances. In a statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) they highlighted the possibility of serving ads and other contents via our refrigerators, car dashboards, thermostats, glasses, watches plus others.

“Our expectation is that users will be using our services and viewing our ads on an increasingly wide diversity of devices in the future,” Google said in the filing. They also argue that it doesn’t make sense to break out mobile revenue since the definition of mobile will “continue to evolve” as more “smart” devices roll out.  By asking Google to declare revenue generated from mobile devices has shed some light into the company's marketing strategy, it seem far fetch but the possible does exist.

This could be another feather in the Google@Home strategy. So far, there is the GoogleTV, Google Set-top box, Google-Nest Thermostat, Google Mobile and Android is embedded in a number of other everyday devices. They are also collaborating with Hyundai, Audi and General Motors to support the Android platform.
