Hager Gearing Up For Indian Home Automation Market

The predicted growth of the home automation market in India has tempted Hager India (subsidiary of the Hager Group) to retool and position itself as service and solutions provider to the home automation sector. According to business-standard.com the facility should be ready by the end of this year.  Its primarily focus will be on working with system integrators in providing solutions of lighting management of homes and commercial buildings.

"Hager group has identified India as one of the strategic countries to grow its market share ambitiously and invest for future growth plans. Whilst the Indian market is witnessing substantial growth across all market segment markets, Hager India will continue to strive its efforts and expertise to provide clients innovative, user friendly, energy efficient, products and solutions," said Benoit Lecuyer, managing director, Hager India.

In addition to the gearing up exercise Hager India will be opening a new corporate office which will focus on studying new market trends, new product and solution introductions for the Indian market.  The company already has a production plant in Lonikand, India, as part of its 20 production units across the globe and sales offices in 55 countries with more than a 20,000 distribution base of wholesalers.
