Entrepreneurs Ryan Fant and Nayeem Hussain and co-founders of Keen Home, have designed the wirelessly networked home air vent, called Keen Vent to maximizes the efficiency and comfort of a home’s heating and cooling system by intelligently redirecting central HVAC airflow.

Keen Vents automatically open and close in response to specific details of a user’s home and lifestyle - effectively reducing the square footage of a home that needs to be heated or cooled at a given time. Initial testing has revealed that a system of Keen Vents reduces central HVAC system run times by up to 30 percent.
