Sonos Offers Rdio In Australia and New Zealand

Sonos customers in Australia and New Zealand can now access Rdio services through Sonos. The wireless music systems developer announced that Rdio’s more than 12 million song library services is accessible through Sono own platform.  From an Android smartphone or tablet, iPhone or iPad Sonos makes it easier to access on-demand music plus your own stored on different devices around your home.

Starting now and for $13.90* or $8.90* per month Sonos customers in New Zealand and Australia can have access to Rdio on-demand music services.  The Rdio service allows you to know about what your friends are listening to, explore by themes, and see what most played on the Rdio network.

According to Sonos’s CEO, John MacFarlene, “Our goal at Sonos is to provide music lovers with access to all the music on the planet”.  On Sonos, you can tune in to more than 120,000 free Internet radio stations, shows and podcasts from around the world.

In addition to playing your personal digital music collection, Sonos gives you access to millions of songs and thousands of radio stations, some partners include JUKE, Last.fm, AUPEO, Deezer, MOG, Pandora, iheartradio, Slacker Radio, Spotify, Rhapsody, SiriusXM Internet Radio, Stitcher SmartRadio, TuneIn, Wolfgang’s Vault, and more.

* $13.90 per month users can subscribe to get unlimited web and mobile streaming. For $8.90 they can get unlimited web streaming.
