Crestron has announced that they are now shipping their next generation of Prodigy control systems, the PMC3 and PMC3-XP. An upgrade from the PMC2 the new models especially the PMC3-XP controls even more devices in the home. These new models even make it the first time that Prodigy can support the full Crestron product line, creating even more possibilities for the connected home. Savant Systems, an Apple-based home automation and control system has file a complaint against Crestron, also an residential and commercial building automation and control systems manufacturer,  in a Massachusetts District Court.  The complaint file by Savant claimed that Crestron has unlawfully sought to exclude Savant from the network of dealers who can purchase programmable controllers for residential and commercial automation. Crestron is schedule to release a new connected home controller called the UFO-4X. Equip with touchscreen and control buttons the UFO wireless handheld controller is design to give you total control over your home automation systems, browse your media catalogue, the internet and manage media files within your integrated system.
