Core Brands has announced the release of Auriel 2.0 with added features such as streaming audio, climate and lighting control, plus remote access.  Now custom installers installing the Niles Auriel MRC-6430 Multi-room audio system can offer smart home control as well.  The Auriel 2.0 multi-room audio platform is built on the ELAN Control Platform.  The new software update enables any existing Auriel system to easily upgrade to the additional control features.

NoVo Technology has announced that they will be taking the Freestanding Renovia to ISE show in Amsterdam this year.  Renovia is a whole home audio system based on powerline technology, as well as the Music Port Elite (MPS4-E) an upgrade from to NuVo’s successful Music Port Server (MPS4).  As a multiroom audio solution the Renovia whole home audio system delivers high-quality audio and metadata from multiple sources to multiple rooms through use of the home’s existing electrical wiring.

Earlier this year Cisco announced the release of two home gadgets that promises to enhance the way we interact and enjoy our digital media.  The two products are: Cisco Multiroom Home Audio - will make it easy to play music from a variety of sources wirelessly throughout the home and the Cisco Media Hub - to help us enjoy all our digital photos, music and video anytime and anywhere.
