Cox Communications Introduces Cox TV Connect for iPad

If you are a Cox Communications customer you can now enjoy your favorite videos and television from your iPad tablet. The new ‘Cox TV Connect’ application is available from the Apple App Store at no extra cost. TV Connect offers a flexible interface where users can view and browse the user guide at the same time and select a full-screen viewing option once a program has been selected.

The launch of Cox TV Connect is a follow-up to its Mobile Connect, launch earlier this year, TV Connectwhich allows Android devices, iPhone and iPad user to control and manage their Telephone services and Cox DVR (Digital Video Recorder).

The company said the launch of Cox TV Connect marks a significant expansion of its online offering. "Cox offers convenience through convergence and TV Connect is a new way we are making viewing more convenient and flexible for our customers," said Steve Necessary, vice president of video product development and management.  "Our TV Connect offering will continue to evolve and expand, adding even more value to our services."

TV connect requires TV Essential or higher and is only available in Cox service areas and to only subscribers Cox Preferred, Premier or Ultimate internet services.
