Carlo Gavazzi Debuts New Designer Range Wall Fittings

Carlo Gavazzi has announced a new range of home automation products for next month’s CEDIA Home Technology Event at Excel London. The Aurora range as it is called comprise of Light Switchs, Temperature controllers, Passive infra-red detectors and smart-house systems were designed by Milan-based Bonorandi.

The light switch (B4X-LS4) has four addressable buttons each with two LED indicators.  They are supplied with charcoal grey and white push-button covers to complement the wall plate.

The Aurora temperature controller (B4X-TEMDIS) displays internal or external temperatures and allows heating or air conditioning to be switched on and off. The controllers are designed to complement other products in the Aurora range.  Like other electronic system the backlighting show blue when it’s on and orange when on standby.

Passive infra-red detector complete the initial Aurora offering, the bus-powered 44x44mm PIR detector is designed for indoor applications, offering a range of 6m and operating angle of 90°. The detector is supplied with white and charcoal grey covers.

All devices can be set up and integrated with the Smart-house network using the BGP-COD-BAT programming unit. This battery-powered unit connects easily to the Aurora devices to enable programming of the device.

The company said there will be more products coming in the Aurora Smart-house range including wireless version of some products.
