New Carlo Gavazzi Smart House Dimmer For LED lighting

Carlo Gavazzi has launched an energy efficient Smart-house Dimmer for the style and energy conscious households.  According to the company, the SH2 dimmer delivers improved dimming performance and features programmable ramp and soft start/stop times. Based on the Dupline Installation bus the SH2 dimmer is ideal light management solution for the automated home.

The SH2 unique design feature makes it ideal for LED lamps which can cause flickering and poor dimming performance. It was built with resistive, inductive and capacitive loads between 3W and 500w and features selectable curves to cater for the different LED technologies available. This means LED lamps can be dimmed over a wide range and remain flicker free.

Featuring automatic load detection (for L, R and C) and integrated heat sink for temperature dissipation; the SH2 dimmer switch enables multiple dimmers to be mounted adjacent to each other without reduction in nominal power. The SH2’s internal bus enables it to be easily connected to adjacent dimmers without the need to cable the Dupline Bus.
