LG Promoted In DiiVA Alliance & TV Pass Compliance Testing

The Digital Interactive Interface for Video & Audio has reached an important milestone in its work to enhance to connected home entertainment experience. Its Authorized Test Center (ATC) in Guangzhou, China, has announced that LG Electronics’ TV Model 42LW6600 has passed the full DiiVA Compliance Test. Broadcom Powers LG's Latest Connected TV and Blu-ray Disc Players

Broadcom’s connected digital TV system-on-a-chip (SoC) platform (BCM35230) and other single chip solutions (BCM7633 and BCM43236) have been selected by LG Electronics for its line wireless connected digital TVs and Blu-ray Disc players. The latest chipsets developed with integrated support web media movie services and communications like YouTube, VUDU, Skype, Netflix, Yahoo Widgets and other services. LG to Unveil New "Total Smart Solution" Home Appliances at CES 2011

DivX TV Launched on LG Blu-ray Disc Players and Home Theater Systems

Recently launched DivX TV is now available on LG Electronics Home Theater Systems LHB335, LHB535 and LHB975 and Blu-ray Disc Players BD550, BD570 and BD590.  The new systems are available to US shoppers from Best Buy and Amazon.
