Remember the Niam UnitiSystem, well except for the wireless multiroom functionality HDI Dune has launched a similar range of media center components that offers a modular approach to building your home entertainment center. Called the Dune HD Smart, the new line offers users the option to buy one of the three starter modules (Smart B1, Smart H1 and Smart D1), which are media players and act as the base unit. Gigle announced that Spanish company Blusens international is to use its MediaXtream Homeplug AV chip in the BluBrain Entertainment Center. The BluBrain Entertainment Center has integrated Gigle’s GGL541, a single chip solution that offers the highest performance of any wireline IC, with both a 1Gbps any wire channel and 200 Mbps over Powerline using Homeplug AV standard. Roku recently added two more devices to its range of media streamers; these were the Roku SD and Roku HD-XR media players. The Roku media players allow you to stream instant entertainment from Netflix, Amazon Video on Demand and MLB.tv. The Roku players come in three different price range $79.99, $99.99, $129.99.
