Netgear has collaborated with Intel to launch ‘Push2TV’ in the Middle East. Push2TV is a new adapter that enables Intel Notebook users in the region to display their entire laptop computer screen on their big screen HDTVs. The Push2TV solution also allows users to wirelessly access their media file on a laptop or on another device such as a SAN (Storage Area Network). Read more »

Marmitek has released an upgrade to its GigaVideo800 HDMI wireless transmitter to the GigaVideo820 with the latest in DHMI technology. While others are just introducing wireless HDMI, Marmitek said they have been offering wireless HDMI solutions in Europe from April of 2009.  The new GigaVideo820 supports a range of resolution up to 1080i and 1080p and fully supports the HDCP standard, which prevent the illegal coping of digital content. Asus is to launch a new HD wireless connector called the WiCast EW2000- WiCast for short.  The device is based on WHDI (Wireless Home Digital Interface) technology developed by Amimon, a developer of wireless HDTV semiconductor solutions.  The WiCast is design to enable households and business to project whatever is on a PC (desktop, Laptop or Notebook) screen onto a television or LCD Monitor screen wirelessly. Airties a supplier of digital home wireless devices has release it latest wireless solution called Air4420.  According to Airties the Air4420 works with network-enabled TVs, media players as well as IPTV or hybrid SAT/Cable/DTT set-top boxes to connect to other home devices and the internet. It is UPnP compatible and with the addition of an external drive the Air4420 can act as an UPnP media server, enabling you to play music, show videos and photos on UPnP AV compatible TVs and Media Players. Panasonic has partnered with Netgear to offer wireless internet video access via its VIERA TVs.  Starting with the Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter and other adapter will be by a “Compatible with Panasonic” sticker.  With one less wire to run, the partnership enables users to easily connect their Panasonic Television to a wireless router and access online content from their living room through the TV.
