Blue Smart Home Hub, the recently introduced DIY smart home security brand from ADT has been named a CES 2021 Innovation Awards Honoree.  The Blue home hub is part of a fully customisable DIY smart home security solutions that allows you to design a smart home security system around your needs while simultaneously giving you professional support through ADT’s monitoring capabilities.

The Blue Smart Home Hub is the brain of the Blue by ADT smart home security system. The hub communicates with all Blue by ADT security devices and sensors, delivering an integrated smart home security experience. The Smart Home Hub has an integrated keypad, a panic option, and home automation support via Z-Wave.

Blue includes, indoor, outdoor and doorbell cameras, door and window sensors, motion sensor, and a combination flood and temperature sensor. The innovative suite of smart home security products provides build-as-you-go flexibility to fit your unique security needs, end-to-end data encryption to help protect user privacy.

You can set recording rules and manage other smart home products (lights, locks, thermostats, and more) via the Blue by ADT app or upcoming various voice integrations. In the event of power loss, the hub features 24-hour battery and cellular backup (available with professional monitoring).

Blue by ADT features two categories of pre-built smart home security systems – Starter and Starter Plus. Alternatively, you have the option of a Build Your Own system where you can select and customize.   You can choose to self-monitor or select ADT’s 24/7 professional monitoring service for even greater peace of mind.
