Entrepreneurs Ryan Fant and Nayeem Hussain and co-founders of Keen Home, have designed the wirelessly networked home air vent, called Keen Vent to maximizes the efficiency and comfort of a home’s heating and cooling system by intelligently redirecting central HVAC airflow.

Keen Vents automatically open and close in response to specific details of a user’s home and lifestyle - effectively reducing the square footage of a home that needs to be heated or cooled at a given time. Initial testing has revealed that a system of Keen Vents reduces central HVAC system run times by up to 30 percent.

According to Nayeem Hussain, Keen Vent was well-received at the TechCrunch’s Disrupt NYC conference. Thus, nspiring them to raise the funds need to develop the product.

"We are currently in talks with several investors and hope to complete the raise within the next sixty days. We look forward to the next phase of our growth and to bringing our Keen Vent to market,” said Nayeem Hussain.
