TCT Deploys Hybrid TV With Entone FusionTV

Wyoming-based triple-play service provider, Tri-County Telephone (TCT) Association has selected Entone’s Fusion TV solution to offer hybrid TV services to its customers.  Already offing advanced digital TV with HD and DVR support, high-speed Internet and voice-over-IP residential services, TCT will now be able to offer a single point of interaction – the television.

Entone's FusionTV solution offers Pay TV subscribers the best of live HDTV, DVR and cloud-based services via a single TV input, remote control, through one screen. It combines linear TV service, digital video recording (DVR), and web-based media services such as VUDU Movies and hundreds of popular web destinations, delivered to their TV via a seamless user interface.

"By seamlessly blending live TV and over-the-top (OTT) services, TCT is providing a differentiated entertainment experience that will make it more valuable to its consumer base," said Ameer Karim, VP of Hybrid TV Solutions at Entone.” As part of the Entone Hybrid TV solution, Entone's media hub products deliver next-gen services throughout a networked home without requiring a separate set-top box at each TV set.”

Based in the Big Horn area of Wyoming, TCT will be deploying the IPTV Edition of Entone’s Fusion TV, which when combine with Entone's Amulet IPTV DVR and Janus Media Hub offers access to a vast library of content and cloud-based services, such as video on demand (VOD), Internet radio from Pandora, photo sharing from Flickr and Picasa, and social media via Facebook and Twitter.
