Vivint Releases iPad Home Automation App

Vivint is offering a free home automation App to its customers with iPad. Customers can download the App from the Vivint to take advantage of the iPad’s large screen to manage their home automation system.  In addition to offering remote access for home automation features, customers can customize notifications from the app to receive notices via email and regular texts or push notifications, regarding security and other events in their home.

Earlier this year, Vivint launched a mobile app that is supported by iPhone, BlackBerry and Google Android devices, and the sale of tablets continue to rise, especially the Apple iPad they also want to tap offer its customers the choice.

"Vivint is all about providing simple and convenient technology solutions for its customers," said Jim Nye, Vivint's vice president of product management. "Nearly 7 out of 10 tablet devices sold on the market today are Apple iPads, and our new iPad app embodies that philosophy by giving our customers another way to interface with their smart home solutions."
