Media storage solutions for the home have come a long way from the days of floppy disk, burning CDs, USB flash drive or just leaving your data on your computer.  So now you want to buy a NAS drive but not sure where to start.  The first thing to is that a NAS drive is a long-term investment and therefore, need lots of thought before you go out and buy one.  I would not recommend you popping out to the shop and buy a NAS drive as you would a case of CDs.  Like a business you might have to think about how your data is going to grow, because we are downloading and saving than we used to.

Negear Offers 802.11ac Wireless Home Router (R6300)

Netgear’s is right on the pulse with this one, they have teamed up with Broadcom to create their first 802.11ac base router.  The Netgear R6300 Wi-Fi Router is the first 802.11ac dual gigabit Wi-Fi router of its kind.  With the R6300, you can get speed of up to 1300Mbps or 450Mbps depending on your setup. Because it is based on 802.11ac, it’s suggested that you will get better connectivity for your mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

Netgear has announced the release of its N750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (WNDR4000). At wireless data rate of up to 750 megabits per second (Mbps), the N750 powers through intense wireless tasks such as streaming HD video, multiplayer gaming and large file transfers. NETGEAR Releases Second Generation Femtocell, MF100H

Netgear today announced the release of its MF100H Second generation Femtocell device. The MF100H is a new addition to the Netgear’s range of home networking solutions and mobile portfolio.  According to Netgear the MF100H complements the current NETGEAR broadband gateway and router lineup widely used by Cable TV Multiple Systems Operators (MSOs) and Telco broadband service providers for residential and business customers.
