CABA Joins Automation Federation (AF)

CABA, an international, non-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of intelligent home and intelligent building technologies and The Automation Federation (AF) have signed a memorandum of membership initiating CABA as one of the newest members of the Automation Federation. As a member of the AF, CABA will work with other AF members to collaborate on best practices, new technology, educational development and dedication to improving the working environment of the automation profession.

The president and CEO of CABA, Ronald J. Zimmer, has express gratification on the agreement and said  “we believe that this agreement will lay the foundations for a strong alliance within the wider automation industry and represent a significant milestone toward enhancing industry productivity, progress and profitability.”

Mike Marlowe, managing director of the Automation Federation said “The Automation Federation is glad to welcome CABA as one of our newest members. We look forward to working together to advance the home and building automation sector and the automation profession as a whole." He believes together the CABA, AF alliance will further their common objective “to promote the Automation Competency Model, advance the automation profession and advocate the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education for our youth."
