Bang & Olufsen Launched 40-inch LCD BeoVision 8 TV

Last week Bang & Olufsen launched their BeoVision 8 40-inch Television in the US, for those of us who want a televison  that is affordable and has some of the latest features. The new BeoVision 8 does just that, it combines a technologically advanced home cinema viewing experience with design and functionality. It includes double frame rate technology, also known as 240Hz, with motion compensation and advance contrasting picture quality.

This is the fifth Bang and Olufsen video product launch within the last 12 months. Exsisting B&O customers can now complement their existing B&O with the new BeoVision 8 TV.

For optimized performance the BeoVision 8 includes contrast improvement technology (Dynamic Contrast). Dynamics Contrast optimizes the contrast according to the picture content in each scene.

Bang & Olufsen designed the BeoVision 8 to offer the best quality natural sounds; giving the impression that the sound is coming straight from the screen. The down-facing bass speaker provides a firm foundation for movies and music programs, while the front units are tuned specifically for the reproduction of human speech.

According to B&O the BeoVision 8 was designed for those who want an advanced yet entry level television. The stand has retractable feet, which allow you place where every convenient or it can be wall mounted whatever the decor dictates.

BeoVision 8 is due out this summer with 3yr international warranty at MSRP $5400.
