DSP, ProSyst and Rockethome Offer DECT-ULE Home Automation and Security Platform

The collaboration between DSP Group, Rockethome and Prosyst has delivered another home automation solution for service providers.  DSP said they have integrated Prosyst’s mBS OSGi (Open Service Gateway initiative), Rockethome’s smart home plug and play solution with their DECT and ULE chipset into one end-to-end home automation and security platform.  The solution will provide a cloud and OSGi Internet of Things (IoT) architecture that allows service providers to enhance their service offering.

Deutsche Telekom recently announced that they are partnering with DSP Group, a wireless chipset manufacture, to trial the use of ULE (Ultra Low Energy) technology in Deutsche Telekom’s Speedport Home Gateway. ULE is seen by many as an important part to next-generation home networking and a preferred solution to offering connected home services.

DSP and Comigo Developed DECT ULE Enabled Set-top Box

On the card at this week’s SmartHomes 2012 conference in Amsterdam is the showcasing of a new set-top box home automation solution from DSP Group and Comigo. Both companies have joined their respective technologies to develop the solution based on DECT Ultra Low Energy (ULE) technology.

DSP  and Comigo believe that home automation is a natural extension of home entertainment, and the integration of the two technologies will enable consumers to control and monitor the entire home from the comfort of the living room with Comigo's hybrid set-top box.
