PacketVideo (PV) the developer of the Twonky media-sharing software and Bang & Olufsen (B&O) have announced a partnership that will allow Bang & Olufsen to offer its customer a seamless and connected music sharing experience using Twonky. The PV premium music player software will be part of Bang & Olufsen’s BeoSound 5 whole home entertainment management solution.
As part of their intelligent home solution, Bang & Olufsen has release an Android version of their BeoLink Software for Mobile devices. Bang & Olufsen customers now have two options – iPhone release last year and now Android. With the new Android app you can access both your home automation and video equipment via the Bang & Olufsen masterlink gateway.
Last week Bang & Olufsen launched their BeoVision 8 40-inch Television in the US, for those of us who want a televison that is affordable and has some of the latest features. The new BeoVision 8 does just that, it combines a technologically advanced home cinema viewing experience with design and functionality. It includes double frame rate technology, also known as 240Hz, with motion compensation and advance contrasting picture quality.
Bang and Olufsen, the developers of the Master Link Gateway home automation and control system has released a new application called BeoLink for the Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The new application is available as free download from the Apple App. Store. Owners of the Master Link Gateway can now access and control all home systems accessible via the gateway from any of the three Apple products.
