The annual Connected Home Global Summit and Awards Gala returns to London for its 4th and 2nd year.  The event offers visitor the opportunity to hear from those at the forefront of the connected home services sector first hand.  Speakers at this year’s summit include some of the UK’s and Europe’s leading service providers such as Vodafone, BBC, BT and Telefónica. The event is a mixture of presentations, panel discussions and breaks for you to network, allowing you to learn about the next generation of connected home solutions.

This year’s event promises to offer the latest results from research findings from international research consultancies such as Arete and IMS Research; they will be looking at ‘An External View of BT’s Fibre Investment Case’ and ‘Could Apple’s iTV transform the Connected Home market in the same way iPhone transformed mobile?’ respectively. Orange Vallée and Telefónica Espãna will be sharing their experiences through the use of case studies.

The summit is an ideal opportunity for different players in the connected home sector to meet and share ideas and build relationships.  According to Avern Events, the organisers, this year's event will show existing service providers and new comers how to optimise their strategy for the connected home, identify the right content and services which will drive connected home adoption, how to leverage the connected home to create new business models and revenue opportunities.
