HomeSeer Released Home Automation Controller: HomeTroller S3

HomeSeerBuilt on Intel’s energy efficient Atom processor with more connection interfaces and software improvement, HomeSeer has released the HomeTroller S3, an upgrade to its predecessor the HomeTroller S2.  The HomeTroller S3 has positioned it self as a premiere home automation solution for home entertainment, security, appliances, lighting and HVAC. With the option to choose from two versions standard and Pro and the latest connectivity options you have the ability to integrate with the latest home automation accessories. 

What has the  HomeTroller S3 got over the HomeTroller S2? First it is faster, with  an Intel 1.6GHz processor; the S3 has five USB ports, front and back audio ports, improve video support with DVI and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports.  The unit’s HSProtect™ system has also been enhanced to provide file-level protection for much improved storage management of the internal flash drive.

As usual the Pro version is more enticing, it comes with the HSTouch interface which allows you to monitor and control your HomeSeer with a variety of devices, such as iPhones, iPads, iPods, Windows and Linux devices – with Android device support coming soon.

All HomeSeer automation systems are designed to work seamlessly with industry standards and products from leading manufactures such as Leviton, Russound, Microsoft, Centralite, DSC, Cooper, Schlage, Black & Decker, Lutron, Aprilaire, ACT, RCS, and others.  Support for the latest automation technologies such as Z-Wave®, UPB and Insteon; is also included.
