NoVo Technology has announced that they will be taking the Freestanding Renovia to ISE show in Amsterdam this year.  Renovia is a whole home audio system based on powerline technology, as well as the Music Port Elite (MPS4-E) an upgrade from to NuVo’s successful Music Port Server (MPS4).  As a multiroom audio solution the Renovia whole home audio system delivers high-quality audio and metadata from multiple sources to multiple rooms through use of the home’s existing electrical wiring.

Utilizing a single, centralised hub, and then a 50-watt independent zone amplifier for each intended listening area, the system is perfect for homes where cutting into walls would be difficult or impossible; you simply plug it into a nearby wall socket.  The Renovia can distribute audio to up to 8 zones, where each Renovia system has a Source Hub and either an in-wall or a freestanding Zone Amplifier for each intended zone.

With up to six audio souce inputs the Renovia  is compatible with both legacy and NuVo devices, including the Renovia specific NuVoDock for iPod. It also features a built in dual tuner, and pairing the system with NuVo’s Music Port (MPS4 or MPS4-E) offers a homeowner an entire world of music at his or her fingertip through streaming Internet Radio and access to their personal music library.

Control of the Renovia system is always easy and aesthetic. Using any combination of NuVo’s available options, including both single gang and dual gang in-wall OLED Control Pads, as well as the sleek new Colour Touch Pad, a listener can enjoy quick and simple navigation, browsing by Song, Album, Artist, Genre or Playlist.
