Through its award winning Nexia Home Intelligence solution they can offer a home automation solution that covers security, HVAC, energy management, remote access and atmospheric control.  This works by combining Ingersoll’s range of home appliances from brands such as Trane and Schlage.

Ingersoll Rand Buys Crayon Interface’s Connected Home Services

Crayon Interface’s connected home services were acquired by Ingersoll Rand.  Ingersoll Rand made the announcement today, that they have taken over Crayon home services division which include Crayon’ s prolific mobile application platform for monitoring and controlling security and energy management devices – including Z-Wave® enabled door locks, thermostats, lighting and IP cameras. D-Link and Intamac recently announced that they have partnered to deliver a connected home solution through D-Link’s  Home Monitoring Starter Kit.
