Marvell Showcased Connected Lifestyle Solution at Comm China

At this year’s PT/Expo Comm in China, Marvell Showcased and demonstrated an array of Smart home solutions including Android TV, LED lighting, home cloud solutions and G.hn reference designs.  The electronic company said it wants to work with local operators to integrate today’s three key platforms: Cloud, Smart TV and Smart mobile.

Marvell said they now offers a comprehensive suite of high performance video delivery solutions and a range of mobile and smart home devices to support the always-connected lifestyle.

At the show they show cased the Marvell’s Android TV reference design, based on the ARMADA 1500 chipset.  The solution, according to Marvell offers exceptional TV and multimedia experience for smart TVs, Blu-rays players and Set-top boxes.  IT also features integrated content from BesTV.

For lighting OEMs and ODM (Original design manufacturers), Marvell said they are offering innovative lighting solutions that will allow them to build higher performance and affordable LED lighting.  Based on Marvell’s advanced LED driver integrated circuits, microcontrollers and integrated control software technology.

Developed around Marvell’s Home Server initiative is its home cloud solutions. The platform integrates into the home seamlessly with plug-n-play connectivity and easy remote access. The Home Server platform also allow software developers to develop application to enrich the users experience.
