Dutch tech firm, Philips electronics has been scaling back and refocusing some of its home solutions, over recent years. The latest is its TV operations, which they own in partnership with TPV Technologies. As part of its Xfinity Home monitoring and automation service Comcast is offering a new line of energy-efficient, “smart” LED light bulbs, developed by Osram Sylvanaia. According to Comcast the inclusion of remote control light bulb as part of a home security and automation service is the first from any service provider.
