Amdocs has launch two eHealth solutions at this year’s 4G World. The cloud based solutions targets service providers who want to enter the ehealth market, by providing in-house management and monitoring of the elderly and chronically ill. Both solutions “Home Health monitoring” and “Aging in Place” help healthcare providers and government to reduce the cost of healthcare by allowing easy access to patients and family members that don’t need to be in hospital.
 

Amdocs has announced the launch of two new solutions for service providers wanting to offer both M2M (Machine-to-Machine) and Connected Home services or either.  The new solutions according to Amdocs will enable service providers to quickly and cost-effectively enter the fast-growing connected devices market, create new revenue streams, provide a unified customer experience and allow them to compete with over-the-top providers.

A Home Run - Berlin, Birmingham and Beijing are no different to Boston or Bangkok: citizens everywhere are spending more and more time connected and are excited about 4G networks, machine-to-machine technology and embedded mobile devices. Amdocs’ market research survey of some 4700 consumers in 14 countries shows that consumers want, and will pay extra for, a “connected home” - a home environment conveniently controlled from residents’ smartphones, tablets, PCs or even connected-TV interfaces.
