Between the months of December and February electronics manufacturers release their latest and best innovations in whatever devices they make.  This is to capitalise on the Christmas spending and also to be a recipient of the CES Innovations award. The other reason and more so now than ever before more of us what to networked the devices in our home and the new year is a good time to make the investment. So I have made a list some of the best networking devices that have been released so far this year from the likes of Cisco, Netgear, Belkin, D-Link and many others.

New Dune HD Pro Media Player Offers VUDU Streaming and THX Media Director

dune hdWith a combination of service partnership with VUDU on-demand streaming and technology collaboration with THX and Sigma Designs, Dune HD has launched a new line of media players.  At this year’s CE Show, the company introduced the “Dune HD Pro”, a model they called the ultimate in HD entertainment center. It features the latest in connectivity and media playback capabilities.

Apple enthusiast will be able to feast their eyes on Savant’s latest home control and automation solutions at this year's CES, in Las Vegas. The show starts next Tuesday the 10 of January and is one of the biggest consumer electronics show kick off the New Year. Savant promises to showcase its whole-home control and automation packages which feature SmartMedia, TrueCommand, Savant Select, TrueImage Control, Savant Sound and SavantEnergy Monitor.

Onkyo has worked Silicon Image to create the world’s first line of Audio/Video Receivers with InstaPrevue and MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) technology.  With InstaPrevue you get live picture-in-picture preview of HDMI or MHL-enabled device connected to your Audio Visual Receiver.  MHL enables a mobile device (smartphone or tablets) to transmit uncompressed video at 1080p.
