Savant Launches Audio Visual Multiroom Solution: SmartSystems
Savant systems launches a new line of Apple-based Audio Visual control and distribution platform, called SmartSystems, which consist of eight systems. The new solutions replace the current Rosie and PROTÉGÉ range and include an iTune-based digital media server. The SmartSystems will allow you to manage all your smart home appliances including home-theater control, whole-home automation, lighting, media and A/V distribution.
SmartControl SSC-0007 and SSC-0025
These are control-only devices, which are designed to connect with A/V, lighting, climate and security. Both will fit into a 1U half rack enclosure, the higher model SSC-0025 has eight RS-232 serial ports, six IR ports, three relay ports, seven general purpose IO ports (GPIO), and one Ethernet port (10/100 Base-T).
SmartAudio SSA-3000
SmartAudio is a multi room audio control solution that offers preamp processing including independent control of balance, bass, volume, treble and mute, and enables same and unique music distribution in up to eight zones. It can be navigated and controlled by an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad utilizing Savant's TrueControl application (available at the Apple app store).
SmartVideo SSV-1000
SmartVideo provides a single zone of TrueCommand, Savant's on-TV menu system, plus video processing and scaling, video switching. SmartVideo also includes an integrated video processor capable of enhancing image detail using advanced de-interlacing technology.
SmartMedia SSM-3100
SmartMedia is a feature rich entertainment system that delivers distributed audio, video switching, a single zone of TrueCommand, and integrated control capability within in a 2U fanless chassis. It is capable of distributing music in up to eight zones with the flexibility to play the same content throughout the home or unique content in each room simultaneously and independently.
SmartMediaPro (SSP-1200, SSP-2400 and SSP3600)
The SmartMediaPro collection is designed for large complex residential, it includes three single-solution high-bandwidth matrix switchers (SSP-1200, SSP-2400 and SSP3600) that deliver high capacity multizone audio and video processing, integrated control and automation.
