Sonic Solutions Partnered with Funai Electric of Japan
Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer Funai Electric Co., Ltd has partnered with Sonic Solutions. The partnership will see Roxio CinemaNow movie service being part of a range of connected TVs and Blu-ray Disc Players by Funai. As part of a worldwide agreement, Sonic's Roxio CinemaNow will enable digital delivery of a vast library of entertainment* to the living room on an assortment of Sylvania, Philips, Magnavox, and Emerson-branded HDTVs and Blu-ray Disc (BD) players, which are all manufactured by Funai.

Behind the scenes, industry-standard digital rights management, along with encoding and adaptive delivery technologies, enable the secure, device-optimized playback of premium entertainment, while at the same time providing a convenient and hassle-free entertainment viewing experience for the consumer.
