With a range of products and experience in electronics design TecHome has launch out on its own after five years of success under parent company HETECH. The new company will focus on home/building automation and remote control products and markets. They have also developed a suite of ZigBee based long-range, multi-channel remote control and receivers.

“TecHome realised the market required a cost-effective multi-function remote control that could easily be customised to suit a customer’s requirements” Mark Steiner, TecHome’s General Manager said. “We are backed by twenty years of experience in the electronics design and manufacture industry, and decided to take up the challenge to offer a quality alternative to foreign imports”.

The new range of long-range, multi-channel, 433MHz/ZigBee protocol remote control and receivers were designed and manufactured in Australia.  Believed to be the first in Queensland, if not Australia, TecHome has developed the devices with the support of Queensland Government’s Business and Industry Transformation Incentives.

Techome’s Remote Controls & Receiver Suite
TecHome’s remote controls are available in three styles, including a lcd display model and a wall mount model, and are designed to be practical, aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic. The range integrates with other control systems, can be used as standalone product and is highly customisable. The remote controls are pre-programmed to suit customer’s requirements and can be printed with a company logo.

The devices are ideal for controlling any electrical device in the home, office or factory including gates, doors, shutters, blinds, awnings, pool and irrigation pumps, air conditioning, fans, indoor and outdoor lighting. In fact, if it can be turned off and on, you can control it with a TecHome remote and receiver.
