Stay connected while you're away from home by receiving rich notifications on your iPhone or iPad lock screen or Apple Watch from your Logitech Circle 2.  The company has announced that Circle 2 Wired home security cameras and mounts now work with Apple HomeKit. Simply set up your Circle 2 Wired camera with the Apple Home app and enjoy access to live video on your iPhone and iPad, notifications to your lock screen on iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch.  You can automate your home such as turning on the lights automatically when motion is detected by the camera.

Last year this time the tech world’s attention was drawn to the Connected TV platform.  This was due to the release of Apple and Google TV. This year the same thing has happen but this time the tone has changed. Notable partners such as Intel, Adobe and Logitech have made announcements saying they are changing their strategy around the Connected TV platform - which mainly affects Google TV.

Logitech has joined forces with Spotify so that owners of the Logitech Squeezebox media player can access Spotify music service. According to Logitech owners of the Logitech Squeezebox Touch or Squeezebox Radio player; using their existing wireless home network can now access Spotify’s comprehensive catalogue of more than ten million songs, including your Spotify playlists, anywhere in the home. Spotify is currently available in Finland, Norway, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Sweden and the U.K.

Logitech has announced that it has joined forces with Spotify to support the popular music service on the Logitech® Squeezebox™ Wi-Fi music players. Using your existing wireless home network and your Squeezebox Touch or Squeezebox Radio player, you can now access Spotify’s comprehensive catalogue of more than ten million songs, including your Spotify playlists, anywhere in the home.

Logitech has delivered on their promise they made in the first half of this year when Google launched its Google TV platform. At the time Logitech was highlighted as one of the key partners to the project and they promised to follow up with the release of a range of product for Google TV. Well four months later they have delivered on that promise with the release of Logitech Revue and a host of other products to help users to better experience Google TV.

Logitech has announced a new range of home security solution for today’s home owners that would like have a view of home even when they are not there.  The new Logitech Alert range includes the 750i Master System, 750e Outdoor Master System, 700i Add-on Camera and the 700e Outdoor Add-on Camera and an added web service that will allow you access live video of your home while away from it (see video below).
