Tendril releases new version of Tendril Energize software.  This upgraded version of the software will enable support for customers who are not connected to a smart meter or an advance meter infrastructure.  Therefore, customers with no meter reading data and only monthly bills can use the application to manage their energy use and save money on their utility bill.

Tendril Moves Into The Connected Home Market With ViVint

Vivint the creator of smart home solution Go!Control is partnering with Tendril to license tendril’s home energy management cloud platform.  The partnership will allow Vivint customers to get real-time energy use which will help to better manage their energy use.  Under the partnership Vivint has licensed Tendril’s ‘Tendril Connect’ and ‘Tendril Energize’, a suite of applications including a home energy management web portal.

NorthWestern Energy Selects Tendril Smart Grid Solutions

Tendril has announced that NorthWestern Energy, one of the largest providers of electricity and natural gas in the Upper Midwest and Northwest, has selected Tendril for its Smart Grid Demonstration Grant Project. Tendril Energize and Tendril Connect will be deployed to deliver consumer engagement and enable energy usage behavioral changes, and to provide demand response (DR) and load control benefits to NorthWestern Energy.

ThinkEco and Tendril Collaborate on Smart Gird Solutions

Tendril and Whirlpool Roll Out Smart Home Appliances

Tendril and Whirlpool have announced that they are going to collaborate on the development of a range of smart home appliances capable of interacting with the Smart Grid, like the LG Electronics THINQ range.  Whirlpool will integrate Tendril’s energy platform into the Whirlpool range of home appliances for the American market.  Both companies are at this year’s DistribuTECH showing prototypes of these products.
