Coming next month is the Sony 'Network Media Player' SMP-N100, a compact media player for BRAVIA  Internet Video and  whole home content streaming.  It is DLNA compliant and Wi-Fi accessible, a complement to your existing Sony appliances and other home entertainment systems. Sony introduced the company’s first 3D front projector (VPL-VW90ES); Mitsubishi debuts its entry level HC4000 HD home theatre projector; LG Electronics introduced a dual engine single lens full HD 3D projector and Epson, released a total of seven projectors in the PowerLite Pro Cinema range.

NBC Universal to Stream Cable and Broadcast TV Series to Netflix Members

netflixIn a joint deal with Netflix NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution announced that US Netflix members can now watch a selection of broadcast series from the NBC television network and NBC Universal's popular cable channels. This agreement has widened the choice available to Netflix members for just $8.99 a month. Movies included in the agreement include 30 Rock, The Office and Law & Order: SVU and prior seasons of Psych, Friday Night Lights and more.

So far we have had the Asus WiCast and HP TV Connect all offering the same functionality. Arcelik A.S. To Manufacture DivX Plus HD Certified TVs For Europe

Both companies, Arcelik A.S. and DivX have entered into a strategic partnership that allows the television manufacturer to offer certified DivX TVs in Europe. Under the agreement Arcelik’s new range of Beko, Arcelik and Grundig-branded DivX Plus HD certified TVs should be available in stores across Europe. The certification of the television will give users the peace of mind and confidence knowing that their TV will play DivX files without problems.

ViewSonic debuts the world first dual-boot Windows7 home premium and Google Android 1.6 tablet PC at this years IFA show in Germany.  The Viewpad said ViewSonic offers the best of both worlds, because Viewpad 100 offers the latest version of Microsoft Windows and the flexibility of Android.  With Viewpad 100 have access to USB connectivity, Adobe Flash support, the ability to create presentation and Word documents and view output via its mini VGA.

HP Wireless TV Connect To Stream Notebook Video To TVs

HP has release a wireless PC to TV connector; like the Asus WiCast, the HP Wireless TV Connect allows users to stream wireless 1080p HD multimedia content from your laptop to your TV. The adapters are powered the USB port of the Laptop and simply work by connecting the PC adapter to the Laptop computer and connecting the TV adapter to the HDTV via HDMI, without the need to install any software. The HP Wireless TV Connect fully supports protected content such as Blu-ray and DVD movies.
